KONA KILLA – Straight
running plunger style lure that produces an extremely dense smoke
trail, consistently tracking straight and digging it’s head in when
the going get rough. The Kona Killa performs at it’s best when
trolled at 8 or 9 knots from the short rigger position but some skippers
have had great success when placing them on the long rigger. No matter
what your choice, you will have the most successful Blue Marlin lure
to be designed and manufactured
by an Aussie in many years. |

of all the shots that “Inkwazi” had this 98-99 season (skippered
by Graham McCloy of Blackwatch Boats fame). |

GOBLIN - A heavily keel weighted straight running lure with an aggressive action. The heavy, balanced belly weight keeps the Goblin swimming upright at all times , churning out the long smoke trail that the Goblin is renown for. When anglers see it for the first in the water they are impressed at the ease at which this highly active lure trolls. The Goblin can be placed in any position in the spread with the most successful color being Black Yakka with the S-Black head. In the 2001 big Marlin Season in the Bermuda a Goblin in Stripey captured an 850lb Atlantic Blue Marlin for American angler Mr. Jay Meyer. |
